Women's summer party!

On 15 July, the women and children we support came together for a summer party filled with food, games and laughter. The women prepared dishes from their own cultures for a potluck meal, bringing a little taste of home to the celebration. Everyone sat down to eat together, sharing food and conversation and enjoying the chance to get to know one another better.

The children had plenty of fun on the bouncy castle, while the mums joined in with games that brought laughter and friendly competition. It was a happy opportunity to step away from everyday worries, relax and enjoy time together.

For the women we support who have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), these gatherings are an important way to build community. They provide space for friendships to grow and help women feel connected and supported. Through a shared meal and an afternoon of fun, our summer party created moments of belonging and happy memories for mums and children alike.
