Mosahid

A positive future after PTSD

Mosahid's time sleeping on the streets left him with illnesses and a deep lack of confidence. His Just Homes key worker helped him rewrite his story.

‍

Years spent sleeping on buses, on sofas, and out on the streets left Mosahid scared of the future. Living through PTSD, with his confidence destroyed and his body struggling with illnesses, hope and change seemed impossible.

As soon as Mosahid joined Just Homes, his key worker became his biggest champion. She encouraged him to go to therapy, go to the doctor, to take his medicine. Just Homes helped him rediscover his confidence and develop his household skills.

Now Mosahid achieved his goal and lives permanently in his own home. He manages his health well and hopes to get back into work now, because he is confident that he can.
