From grief to gratitude
Living homeless, Neil didn't know where his next meal was coming from, or what was going to happen to him each night. He became heavily depressed and hopeless, as he sought to process his grief with the harsh reality of living without a home.
He met Just Homes after eating dinner at The Manna Project. Immediately he couldn't believe the help he was receiving: cooked meals, a bedroom, and practical assistance understanding with applications and universal credit. The support and encouragement enabled him to set goals for himself, and work to achieve them.
Neil now lives in a home of his own once again, and he feels so grateful that he has the stresses and the joys of independent living.
