Naz

Navigating neurodiversity

After becoming homeless in London, Naz went through a journey with Just Homes not just to become independent, but to understand himself better.

‍

When Naz's rental property fell through, he lost his job as a security guard and found himself on the streets. He tried to sleep in the library, in the mosque, or at friends' houses, but none of these options worked.

Then he met Just Homes. Immediately he felt safe as the team welcomed him. He started gardening, and they helped him to prepare for independence and completed applications. They supported him as he went through autism assessment too; he knew he was accepted and loved.

Naz loves the flat he lives in now, which Just Homes helped to find and move him into. Now he is confident and understands himself with pride.
